I understand that some of the conference proceeding CDs from RMOUG Training Days don't launch automatically. A possible fix is to navigate to Windows Explorer and open your CD drive – scroll to the file that says "index.html" or just "index" – double-click that file and see if opens the CD.
If this doesn't work for you please contact veronica@teamycc.com with your mailing address so that a replacement CD can be sent out.

- This year in keeping with the green initiative you will receive a CD containing both the papers and slides. We will not have paper handouts. However, all the papers and slide presentations that we have received are already available through the schedule builder. You can use our online schedule builder to create your schedule before arriving at the conference. You are not obligated to attend the sessions you select and you may change your selections at any time. The schedule builder helps you plan your day and gives us an idea of how many will be attending each session. Click here to access the schedule builder. To receive your password, please enter your first and last name and select the E-mail Password button. Your password will be sent to the e-mail address you used when you registered. If your name is not recognized, or you do not receive the e-mail with your password within a few minutes, please contact rmougreg@teamycc.com for help.
- Important Schedule Update: "Further RMAN Optimizations in 11g" presented by Stephan Haisley, Oracle Corporation, has been moved to Session 6, Room 201/203; and PL/SQL Development with SQL Developer presented by Kris Rice, Oracle Corporation, as been moved to Session 1, Room 201/203.
- Come join OTN @ RMOUG to learn more about the Oracle Expert Sessions in the OTN booth on the Exhibition floor.
- If you signed up for a University Session on Tuesday, February 10, registration opens at 11:00 a.m. in room 101. The sessions begin at 1:00 p.m. You may also register for a University Session on-site.
- Don't forget to invite your manager as our guest to attend the Exhibitor Showcase on Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. through the reception ending at 7:00 p.m. Send your manager's name, company, and e-mail address to rmougreg@teamycc.com and we'll send them an invitation.
- The Training Days 2009 registration and information desk will be open in the Four Seasons Ballroom Prefunction area from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
- The Training Days 2009 vendor exhibition will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. It is located in the Exhibit Hall (Four Seasons Ballroom) across from the registration and information desk.
- Internet stations are available in the Exhibit Hall to help you stay connected to the office.

New business demands are driving companies to externalize services, integrate with partners, and control the risk of online transactions. But a new wave of security challenges is confronting modern businesses amid a weak economic environment and a tough regulatory landscape. This session will highlight what’s ailing security in the modern enterprise and pinpoint some shortcomings with traditional industry solutions.
As the Vice President of Business Development for Oracle Identity Management, Mr. Sullivan spends his time with Oracle's premier customers, assisting them in understanding the business value of identity management and helping them evaluate and implement Oracle technology.
Mr. Sullivan also serves as Oracle Corporation Management Board representative to the Liberty Alliance and is President of the Alliance, an industry association of vendors and enterprise customers developing standards for federated identity management.
Mr. Sullivan is widely recognized as a leading authority on security, identity management, document, and work process technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and has conducted graduate studies in information management at Boston University.

He teaches database courses at Regis University and also does volunteer DBA work for the Rocky Mountain Oracle Users Group.
